How can I email a crime scene investigator or a cop for research for my book?

Jaclyn asked: I cannot figure out or Google the technical aspects of what happens after an assault, or what happens to the victim after the assault.
I need to find someone to email and ask questions so I can get the process right in my book. HELP! Thanks in advance!Optin
